Dan has spent his career working with children and their families in many settings, and he approaches his work with care and passion. Dan emphasizes the importance of the individuality of clients and the systems they are a part of. He recognizes the significance of approaching each client and session as a learner who has a desire to understand each client’s unique needs, struggles and strengths. Working in this capacity has provided him with opportunities to collaborate with numerous agencies, schools and other important stakeholders. He is IFAST trained and relies on his education to implement therapeutic skills such as motivational interviewing and creative problem solving to help address his clients’ needs.

Dan received his Bachelor of Art in Sociology and Anthropology from Ohio Wesleyan University and attended The Ohio State University where he received a Master of Social work Degree. While studying at Ohio State, he completed a rigorous 12-month internship with an emphasis on case management, and upon graduation began working in a community-based counseling and therapy role.

Daniel is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
